The intent of my thesis is to create a diverse character portfolio that can be used to apply to positions in character design, 3D modeling, etc. in the animation, gaming, and/or vfx industry. I chose to take the design from concept to final high-resolution model so that I would have a range of steps within the process to use as portfolio material. The characters I designed are inspired by sci-fi popular media, such as the video games Overwatch and the Metal Gear series. My hope is that one day I can use the completed models for a video game.
